Fixed Dental Prosthesis
Fiber Post Applications
Fiber post application is a treatment method applied to teeth with excessive tissue loss and remaining tissues that are unsuitable for restoring by a filling.
Before fiber post application, root canal treatment is needed. After root canal treatment, fiber is inserted into the root canal to have a support for the composite filling (see Aesthetic Fillings and Inlay/Onlay Restorations). By this composite filling construction, the final restoration can be completed or a prepared tooth form can be obtained for the crowns.
